Drivers and Attendants:

Real-time and precise location information for tracking of bus location

Parents and Caregivers:

Relationship to the child
Children’s names
Children’s school information
And any details required to manage the child’s bus service and enrolment.
Transaction-related information (e.g., purchases, payment, billing).
Credit card or payment information for app purchases or services.

We may use this information to:

Operate and improve the app
Manage school bus services and trips
Communicate important notices, updates, and promotions

Automatically Collected Information

The app may collect information automatically, including:

Device type, unique device ID, and operating system
IP address
App usage patterns

Real-Time Location Data (Drivers & Attendants Only)

The app collects real-time location information from your device when needed for core functions:

Tracking bus trips
Attendance management
Notifications to parents and caregivers

2. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell personal information (names, email addresses, birthdates, residential addresses, or mobile numbers).

Personal information provided will be shared with your school bus operators for the purpose of providing school bus services.

We may share anonymized or aggregated data to improve the app or for monetization with trusted data partners or advertisers.

To comply with legal obligations or respond to legal requests
To protect our rights, your safety, or that of others, or to investigate fraud
To trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality
In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or sale of assets (with notification via email or app)

3. Data Related to Children

Parents or caregivers provide information about children to enable bus service management.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.
If a parent discovers that a child under 13 provided information without consent, contact support.sensei@busninja.ai and we will delete the data promptly.

4. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data. Please note the following:

Parents and caregivers: Deleting your account will prevent school bus operators from providing bus services for your children. Your bus operator will contact you to confirm your deletion request.
School bus drivers and attendants: Deleting your account will prevent you from driving for your employer. Your employer will contact you to confirm your deletion request.

To request deletion, contact us via support.sensei@busninja.ai. Deletion requests will be processed after confirmation with the relevant school bus operator or employer.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.
Standard uninstall processes for your device or app store can be used.

Data Retention

User-provided data is retained while you use the app and for a reasonable period afterward.
Automatically collected data is stored up to 24 months, then may be aggregated.
Some data may be required for the app to function correctly.

6. Security

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information.

BusNinja is hosted on state-of-the-art data centers in Singapore that has attained the highest security standards, used by banks, government agencies and MNCs.

Access is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need it to operate, develop, or improve the app.

This policy may be updated from time to time.
Updates will be posted here.

Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of changes.

8. Your Consent

By using BusNinja, you consent to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your information as described.

"Processing" includes collecting, storing, deleting, combining, and sharing information.

All data processing occurs in Singapore. Users outside Singapore consent to transfer and processing under Singapore’s privacy standards.
